Every institution will have different requirements when choosing a service contract to suit them. ArjoHuntleigh service contracts can be tailored to suit your exact requirements.
Our Central Warehouse and mobile inventory gives Service Engineers access to over £1m of spare parts. This access supports the Service Team daily and allows sufficient stock of frequently used parts for servicing and repairs. Where a specialist part is required to service or repair your equipment, it can usually be obtained overnight and delivered to the engineer for the next day.

Regular servicing and preventative maintenance of equipment ensures continued reliability, prolongs their useful life, minimises the risk of emergency breakdowns and ensures less exposure to manual handling related injuries to carers as a result of equipment failure, leading to increased staff absences.
Wide range of equipment covered (including 3rd party)
In addition to ArjoHuntleigh’s equipment, all Service Engineers are trained to service and repair other manufacturer’s equipment and have access to a full range of spares. Third Party Spares are held in a Central Warehouse and fast moving items in Service Vehicles.
ArjoHuntleigh also produces service procedures for other manufacturer’s products to ensure consistent quality and standards are adhered to for products on service contracts.
Each Service Engineer works from a fully equipped vehicle carrying the frequently used spare parts and specialist tools. They also hold the latest illustrated manuals in hard copy and electronic format to ensure a consistent quality of service.
Owning your equipment brings with it a responsibility for you to ensure they meet the rigorous standards set out by legislation and regulatory guidance that protects your patients and residents safety, and your own responsibilities as a carer. They include:

Each Service Engineer is factory trained and works in accordance with the standards set out in ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007, the Company’s Management System.
All equipment used for testing and measurement is calibrated annually to maintain accuracy. This includes engineer meters, gauges, torque wrenches and load test equipment.
24 Hours a Day
Service Engineers are supported by a team of office based Technical Support Engineers to ensure that any problem experienced with both ArjoHuntleigh and other manufacturer’s equipment can be solved in the quickest of time. The Technical Support Team is also available during office hours to assist with customers own operating and maintenance issues. Repair calls can be logged out of hours and will be responded to within your contractual agreement.

All Service Engineers undergo full service training on all ArjoHuntleigh and other manufacturer’s equipment. Engineers are regularly audited via the Technical Compliance Department, as part of a constant, ongoing programme to ensure they are kept up to date with new products and legislation. Service Engineers are also covered by £10,000,000 of public and product liability insurance.
The entrance level into the Company for a Service Engineer is apprentice trained, City and Guild/NTEC/ONC or similar qualifications in mechanical/electrical engineering.

All Service Engineers are CRB checked, carry identity cards and wear an easily recognisable ArjoHuntleigh uniform, providing you and your staff with security and peace of mind.
Effective Asset Management provides a more complete understanding of your facility and helps achieve lean operational efficiencies. On completion of each preventative maintenance service, your facility can, on request, receive a comprehensive Asset Management Report. This report details every piece of equipment serviced, the location and any action undertaken by our Service Engineers. The ArjoHuntleigh Asset Management Report makes it easy to keep track of your medical equipment and enables you to plan in advance for any additional resources.
